Note: A total of 255 base address settings are available. The switches are a binary representation of the decimal memory addresses. SW1/1 is the Most Significant Bit and switch SW1/8 is the Least Significant Bit. The switches have the following decimal values: SW1/1=256, SW1/2=128, SW1/3=64, SW1/4=32, SW1/5=16, SW1/6=8, SW1/7=4. Turn off the switches and add the values of the switches, including an additional value of 512 as a fixed setting, to obtain the correct memory address. (Off=1, On=0) |
MISCELLANEOUS TECHNICAL NOTES |
|
» An optional cable is required to bring out the B side of the switches to another 37-pin connector (Port B). » The 16REL-L can be installed into any PC expansion slot, except the J8 slot on the original IBM XT and Portable. |
